Praise to the Gods of Employment

My prayers have been answered! My job search in Nevada is finally over. Today I was offered a position at a job. After jumping around the apartment, screaming at the top of my lungs and doing my “happy dance”  I graciously accepted. It was a job I touched on it little in My Strength of Writing. I am not going to disclose exactly where or what my job is due to my privacy and to protect myself from the company will be affiliated with, but I will let you know that it something benefits the community. I like to help people and do so by reflecting that in my work.

I am ever so grateful. It’s hard to find a job after graduation and I have a high amount of respect for those that take it on. I almost gave up hope, but if it weren’t for stumbling upon Just in Queso’s blog post, How to be Unemployed I probably would have thrown in the towel. Actually, one of the reasons why I started this blog was because I didn’t know what to do with myself because of the sting of unemployment. I spent a lot of time trying to be productive, but I always ended up doing the same things. Watching South Park. I watched all 19 seasons in one month.

I hope everyone’s Friday is going as well as mine! Happy Friday!

  1. Hey kudos! Wait, did you jump, scream, and dance while they were on the phone with you? Hahah. Do good and spread joy with your work!
